Our Fall Fine Art Afterschool Classes for grades K-6 Monday-Friday have started. Monday and Wednesday are full, but there are still spaces available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Classes are 4:00-5:30 pm. The Portfolio Development class is Thursday from 5:30-7:30 pm for 6th and 7th grades - an excellent way to prepare for the specialized high schools. Portfolio Prep will be offered for 8th grade for 10 sessions only on Thursdays. We will still be doing pick-up of students at PS 87, and hope to expand to other schools in the area as the year progresses.

Funding News:
Arts in Action has received continued support from the NY City Council. NYC Councilmember, Gale Brewer has awarded us a grant for the fourth year in a row. We are extremely grateful for her support over the years of our afterschool program.
