Afterschool Fine Art Classes for Children take place at our beautiful art studio conveniently located in the Upper West Side.
Action Visual Art program, in its 25th year, is a progressive sequentially structured fine art program. We teach a visual language as a means of communication that is fun to learn! Founded and directed by Angela Tripi-Weiss, a three-time Blackboards Award Winner for Excellence in Fine Art Education and recognized in the 2012 Who's Who Worldwide!

Spring Break Workshop:
Create a Self-Portrait in Clay!

For ages 5-11
Date: Tues. March 26th
Time: 9:30am- 2:00pm
Fee: $125
(materials are included)
Must bring own lunch
(no reheating available)

During this Clay Portrait Sculpture Workshop, students will create an original sculptural composition in clay exploring textures through manipulating the surface of the clay. Students will draw self portraits from observation and then transfer their drawing into a clay sculpture!

A 90-Minute Fine Art Class for ages 5-11 at Arts in Action VAP’s beautiful art studio where your child will develop and refine their skills in drawing and painting.

Afterschool Fine Art for ages 5-7 on Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm
Afterschool Fine Art for 6-11 Mondays 4:00-5:30pm

On Tuesdays 4:45-6:30pm and On Wednesdays 5:45-7:30pm
Now offering College Portfolio Development and PREP for High Schoolers on Wednesdays 5:45-7:30pm.
